Do you offer programs for students who are not enrolled in New Gains Academy full-time?

Yes. In addition to our Full-Time Virtual School, we offer Learning Labs and the Young Entrepreneurs Program. These programs are open to homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school students. We also provide classes and workshops for adults.  

What are Learning Labs?

Learning Labs are small-group academic support sessions designed to help students strengthen skills in reading, writing, mathematics, homework completion, and study habits.

Who can participate in Learning Labs?

Learning Labs are open to students in grades K–8, including homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school students.

When do Learning Labs meet?

Learning Labs meet live online every Wednesday from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM MST.

Do students need to be enrolled in the Full-Time Virtual School to participate in Learning Labs?

No. Learning Labs are available to all eligible students, regardless of where they attend school.

What is the Young Entrepreneurs Program?

Young Entrepreneurs is an enrichment program that teaches students business, entrepreneurship, leadership, financial literacy, marketing, and real-world problem-solving skills through engaging projects and activities.

Who can participate in the Young Entrepreneurs Program?

The Young Entrepreneurs Program is open to students in grades 3–12, including homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school students.

When does the Young Entrepreneurs Program meet?

The Young Entrepreneurs Program meets live online every Thursday from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM MST.

Do students need business experience to join Young Entrepreneurs?

No. The program is designed for beginners as well as students who already have an interest in business and entrepreneurship.

How much do Learning Labs and Young Entrepreneurs cost?

Tuition for Learning Labs is $129 per month. Tuition for the Young Entrepreneurs Program is currently $129 per month.

Are contracts required for Learning Labs or Young Entrepreneurs?

No. Learning Labs and Young Entrepreneurs are offered on a month-to-month basis. Long-term contracts are not required.

Can my child participate in more than one program?

Yes. Many families choose to combine programs based on their child's needs. For example, a student may participate in Learning Labs for academic support and also enroll in the Young Entrepreneurs Program.

Do you accept ESA funds for Learning Labs and Young Entrepreneurs?

Yes. Arizona ESA funds may be used all of our educational services. Please contact us for current payment options and eligibility details.

Will you take all of my ESA award to cover tuition?

The annual cost of tuition is $6,500. Many students have funds left over after tuition is covered.   We do not charge tuition and fees based upon what you receive from ESA.

Is it true that students receive a laptop and other supplies at the beginning of the school year?
Yes. If you enroll your students by July 15th, prior to the fall cohort, your student may receive a laptop, globe, calculator and growth mindset guide.
