Do you offer programs for students who are not enrolled in New Gains Academy full-time?
Yes. In addition to our Full-Time Online School, New Gains Academy offers K–12 Digital Learning and Learning Labs. Learning Labs are open to students from homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school settings.
What is K–12 Digital Learning?
K–12 Digital Learning is a self-paced, flexible learning option for students who benefit from working through digital coursework at their own pace. Students receive academic guidance, progress monitoring, and support from New Gains Academy.
Does the K–12 Digital Learning program include live classes?
No. K–12 Digital Learning is designed as a self-paced learning option and does not include regularly scheduled live classes. Students complete their digital coursework according to a flexible schedule while receiving support and academic guidance from New Gains Academy.
Families seeking live, teacher-led instruction may enroll in our Full-Time Online School.
What are Learning Labs?
Learning Labs are small-group academic support sessions designed to help students strengthen skills in reading, writing, mathematics, homework completion, and study habits.
Who can participate in Learning Labs?
Learning Labs are open to students in Grades K–8, including homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school students.
When do Learning Labs meet?
Learning Labs meet live online every Wednesday from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM MST.
Do students need to be enrolled in the Full-Time Online School to participate in Learning Labs?
No. Learning Labs are available to eligible students regardless of where they attend school.
What is the Young Authors Program?
The Young Authors Program gives New Gains Academy students the opportunity to become published authors. Students develop their own book from idea to finished manuscript while learning about brainstorming, writing, revising, editing, book design, and publishing.
Will every student write a book?
Yes. Every New Gains Academy student participates in our Young Authors experience. Students are guided through the process of developing and creating their own book.
Publication through Amazon KDP is available with parent/guardian permission.
Do students need to be enrolled full-time to participate in Young Authors?
The Young Authors Program is part of the New Gains Academy student experience. Families interested in having a student participate should contact us for program details and eligibility.
How much do Learning Labs cost?
Learning Labs are $129 per month.
Are contracts required for Learning Labs?
No. Learning Labs are offered on a month-to-month basis. Long-term contracts are not required.
Can my child participate in more than one program?
Yes. Families may choose the learning option or combination of services that best fits their child's needs.
Do you accept ESA funds?
New Gains Academy accepts Arizona ESA, Utah Fits All, ClassWallet, New Opportunities Scholarship, and self-pay options. Families should contact us for current payment options and eligibility details.
Will you take all of my ESA award to cover tuition?
No. Our tuition is based on the program selected, not on the amount of ESA funding a student receives. We do not increase tuition based on a family's available ESA funds.
