About New Gains Academy
New Gains Academy is a boutique K–12 online school dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations while developing the confidence, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
We provide flexible learning opportunities through our Full-Time Online School, Self-Paced Learning, Learning Labs, Young Entrepreneurs Program, and Young Authors Program. Our programs combine academic excellence, personalized learning, and meaningful real-world experiences that encourage students to think critically, create confidently, and pursue their goals.
Our Full-Time Online School provides live, teacher-led instruction for K–12 students. Our Self-Paced Learning option provides a flexible digital pathway for students who benefit from working at their own pace. Learning Labs offer small-group academic support for students in Grades K–8 and are open to students from homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school settings.
At New Gains Academy, we believe education should develop more than academic skills. Through leadership, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, creativity, and writing, students are encouraged to become confident learners and purposeful thinkers. Through our Young Authors Program, every student has the opportunity to become an author and share their voice with the world.
We also support students with IEPs and 504 Plans through individualized instruction and appropriate accommodations.

About the Founder & International Principal
Tajiri Freedom, M.Ed., B.B.A., is the Founder and International Principal of New Gains Academy. She holds a Subject Matter Expert Standard Certification in Business Education (Grades 6–12) and is passionate about equipping students with strong academic foundations while developing the leadership, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial skills needed for real-world success.
Through New Gains Academy, Tajiri is committed to creating a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged to think critically, encouraged to discover their strengths, and empowered to grow academically and personally.
Her vision is to provide students with more than an education. New Gains Academy is designed to help young people become confident learners, ethical leaders, creative thinkers, and future innovators who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world.
